Designing a Beautiful Instagram Grid

With Instagram, aesthetics matter all around. It’s not only the look of each individual post, but how they seamlessly work together to make your brand’s Instagram grid into a beautiful thing. Below are three themes and ideas you can use to create a beautiful grid on your instagram feed.

  1. Colour Code

This one is super popular in 2021. Lots of Instagrammers are opting for color coordinated or color coded Instagram feeds. There are many ways to achieve this look. You can opt to follow one colour throughout, or to switch between colours every few months to create a rainbow effect. Try elevating a monotone theme by adding in a colourful set of photos (an accent row, if you will) every few rows.

  1. Puzzle Pieces

The Let’s Snack Instagram feed is the perfect puzzle piece. This tricky, beautiful, feed trick isn’t great if you plan to post every single day. It’s a bit more complex to pull off, and usually requires you post a bunch of photos at once so that it will make sense. But the payoff is awesome, a well designed, low maintenance, memorable Instagram feed.

  1. Checkerboard

The checkerboard is a classic Instagram grid concept. This look is achieved by posting a combination of contrasting posts. Most commonly, users post a combination of photos and quotes to create this effect.
