If you’re a foodie, you definitely get excited when you hear that a food festival is coming to town. Luckily for us, Toronto constantly has food festivals where you can try new food and this Asian food festival that is just like Summerlicious is the perfect occasion to try that restaurant you’ve always wanted to go to.
AsialiciousTO is back with over 100 participating restaurants around the city that are offering prix-fixe meals at affordable prices.
Venues participating include traditional sit-down spots as well as those in food courts, hotels, grocery stores, food trucks, cafes, bakeries, and bubble tea shops.
Each restaurant will offer a set menu priced at $10, $20, $30, or $40 dollars so you can try a pix fixe menu at that one spot that has been on your list for quite some time at an affordable cost.
Restaurants participating in AsialiciousTO include TORA, Bar’Kada, Casa Manila, Incheon House, Osaka Sushi, and Thairoom.
TORA is doing a $30 deal for a meal of aburi nigiri, aburi sushi, a roll, negi-toro spoon, and miso soup.
Bar’Kada has a $40 special that includes a salad appetizer, beef ribs with rice or noodles for the main, and a cheesecake for dessert.
Also to celebrate the start of the food festival, there will be the Asialicious Carnival on opening weekend.
The three day festival will be packed with some of the best Asian cuisine the city has to offer as well as cultural showcases and performances to show the diversity of Asian culture.
Your tastebuds will be able to travel through Asia with all the different food and drinks from over 50 vendors.
The Asialicious Carnival will take place at Woodside Square from September 15 through September 17.
AsialiciousTO starts at participating venues from September 16 through October 1.
