This Toronto fruit bar and cafe is like a salad bar but for fruit

Fruit. There are so many kinds and so many ways to eat it. One of my favourite ways to eat fruit is in a fruit salad because I can have a huge variety of them. Grocery store fruit salads are always just filled with melon and are nothing special but Dice Fruit Bar and Cafe is stepping up your fruit game to a whole new level.

Located in the boujee neighbourhood of Yorkville, Dice is just like a salad bar or even a Subway but with fruit! The cafe isn’t just serving up your average melons and strawberries but they’re kicking it up a notch and serving exotic fruits like lychee, dragon fruit and even gooseberries!

The menu consists of fruit jars, acai bowls, smoothies, juice, cake jars, froyo jars, coffee, teas and new to the menu are their mini donuts.

Now you might think that you can just make all these at home and you’re right you can. They actually encourage you to try to make one of their iconic fruit jars or acai bowls at home but let me ask you this. How often do you have dragon fruit, passionfruit or even papaya in your fridge? Probably not often huh?

Dice Fruit Bar and Cafe is the perfect place to find the fruits you love and to try new fruit all compacted in a glass jar. You can try one of their signature fruit jars but also make your own so you can try as many exotic fruits in one jar! Not to mention they offer many other street treats.

You also might be asking why a glass jar? Dice cares about the planet so everything is served up in compostable packaging and reusable jars. You can use the jars to make your own fruit jars at home but you could also return them in-store to get $1 off your next purchase.

Their motto is that they’re healthy AF without tasting boring AF. That’s why there is such a variety in store so you can say goodbye to the sad old grocery store fruit salad.
