A review of Starbucks’ new summer drinks

Did you know Starbucks has new summer drinks? They released three new frozen drinks, a frozen pineapple passionfruit lemonade refresher, a frozen strawberry acai lemonade refresher, and a frozen mango dragonfruit lemonade refresher. I know all the names are a mouthful.

When they first released I was only able to get the frozen pineapple and frozen strawberry refreshers since the mango dragonfruit one was sold out at the time.

These drinks are also available as a regular refresher on the menu but I love my blended drinks so of course I opted for the frozen version. My boyfriend and I picked up the drinks and headed to the park for a thorough review of the drinks.

I liked the strawberry one better than the pineapple one. I thought the pineapple was a bit too tart for my liking even though I love pineapple. I did have the genius idea to drink both of the drinks together and honestly, it made it so much better. I think a mix of the two drinks should be on the menu instead of the individual ones.

I then tried the mango dragonfruit drink with my coworker Sam and honestly, it was amazing! I drank it so quickly because it was so good! Mango and dragonfruit are good individually but when you put them together they are chefs kiss!

If I were to recommend one I would say to try the frozen mango dragonfruit lemonade refresher. Trust me it’s worth it and you won’t regret it!

My coworker Sam also made a dupe of the mango dragonfruit refresher and you can check out her recipe below. It tastes just like it and is a sweet summer hack!
